Marie graduated from university in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Professional Accounting. Marie completed her post graduate studies at the Australian National University where she obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2015.

Marie has advised on numerous complex litigation matters assisting both individuals and private companies to achieve successful outcomes. She is particularly interested in commercial litigation, estate challenges and insolvency.

Marie comes from a litigation background specialising in personal injury and insurance claims where she has gained extensive experience in alternative methods of dispute resolution including mediation, pre-trial conferences and informal conferences. She has also assisted on complex civil trials in addition to high profile criminal trials and appeals.

Marie has appeared in the majority of Western Australian jurisdictions including the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court, State Administrative Tribunal and WorkCover WA.

She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the WA Rockability Group and is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and Women Lawyers Western Australia (WLWA).
